The Cahokia recreation was the second collaboration between Past In Pixels and Black Dragon. The aim of this project was to test the feasibility of creating a real-time interactive visualisation, our previous collaboration had been an underwater experience, this was our first above ground collaboration with Past In Pixels. The Cahokia Mounds historic site in southern Illinois because of its importance in North American history and because of the existence of Li-DAR scans of the modern remains of the mounds.

For this project we used the Unreal Engine 4 for the real-time rendering and interactive elements.

The Cahokia recreation acted as a solid base and a prelude to our future collaborations and projects.
